A Day to Remember
Sophia and Josh were married at Glen Oaks surrounded by their closest friends and family. Want to hear the sweetest thing?! They were married under a chuppah, which was made out of Sophia's grandmother's wedding veil!! Such an amazing way to honor their family. This was such a beautiful day that was filled with sunshine. I love how every wedding in Big Sur is unique. Every single couple, ceremony, and experience is different. Sophia and Josh were staying in the Little Red House at Glen Oaks and it was magical. We even made some furry new friends! The two sweetest kittens joined us while Sophia and her sister were getting ready and they were having a really hard time not taking them home!
One of my favorite parts of the day was when Sophia and Josh took a moment by themselves, just the two of them to read their vows to each other in private before the actual ceremony. I think this is a great idea for couples that really just want this incredibly special moment all to themselves. We were all in tears by the time they were done!
After the ceremony and reception, I took the couple to Garrapata State beach where we ran along the shore, explored the secret cave and they shared their first dance as the sun went down. I don't think there is a single thing any of us would've changed about this magical day.
