Cliffside Ceremony
Dave and Iryna's elopement was short and sweet, but we fit A LOT in to our time together. They came all the way from Virginia to get married in Big Sur, as they both love the outdoors and hiking together. I met them at the Highland's Inn where they were staying for the weekend, and they followed me to Garrapata where their ceremony was to take place. Dave and Iryna were married by local officiant, Jennifer Schmidt on the bluff overlooking the ocean. It was an absolutely gorgeous fall day with sunshine peaking through the clouds. After the ceremony, I took the couple on a hike around Garrapata, where we found the perfect cobblestone dance floor for them to have their first dance. We even brought along a guitar for Dave to play for Iryna as they sat over looking the waves crash below them. We finished off our time together at dusk with lanterns lighting the way. Congratulations Dave and Iryna, thank you so much for letting me capture your special day!
