Blind Love

Rebecca and Eric came all the way from Pennsylvania to say "I Do" in Big Sur. Rebecca fell in love with the mesmerizing landscape of Big Sur, and knew it was exactly the right place to get married. Reading about their love story was so sweet, and I knew immediately I wanted to work with them. Rebecca shared that they met on a blind coffee date in March of 2019, and it was love at first sight. She told me that after they started dating, they recreated their first date every last Friday of the month!!! That is one of most romantic things I've ever heard, and I slightly jealous my husband and I don't have our own tradition like that! And that's exactly how this couple is in real life! I can't tell you how many times they checked in on each other during their wedding day. Each wanting to make sure that the other was comfortable and happy. There was absolutely NO hesitation when I would prompt them to stare deep into each other eyes!

We started off the day at Glen Oaks, where the couple had their ceremony on a grassy lawn near their cabin with only the giant redwoods as their witness. We then explored the forest for a bit, before we drove down Highway One towards Garrapata State Beach. Here, the couple had their first dance, had a champagne toast in a secret cave, and then headed towards our last location. We finished off their wedding day hiking along the rocky coast, watching the raves crash in and the sun dip below the horizon.
