Gorgeous Monterey Wedding
Monique and Cody were married at the Perry House in Monterey on a beautiful day in December.
I first met Monique through her mother, who I had actually photographed for a Couples Session. I knew the moment we started chatting that we would be a great fit. Monique is kind, bubbly and full of life. She knew exactly what she wanted, yet at the same time was so incredibly laid back about the whole wedding process. Meeting Cody sealed the deal, and I couldn't wait to work with them. How could I not?!? This was one of Cody's answers in the questionnaire I sent them:
- What is your favorite thing about her?
Everything…. If everything is not allowed to be an answer then; it has to be her ability to be
everyone’s favorite person. I know wherever we go, I really just have to worry about myself
because she is just amazing to be around. Also did I mention everything inside and out is my
favorite?
Their wedding day was filled with friends, family and laughter. They had a large wedding party, and it was easy to see why. Monique and Cody are some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and they were truly more concerned about the happiness of each and every guest than they were about themselves.
From the gorgeous flowers, to the amazing winter decor, beautiful backdrops–they even had a fire engine! This was by far, one of the most epic and fun weddings I have ever been a part of. Thank you Monique and Cody for allowing me to capture your love story.
