Big Sur Lodge Wedding
Kennia and Brandon had a beautiful Big Sur wedding surrounded by their children and parents. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, full of sunshine and love. The couple stayed at Glen Oaks, where they got ready together before they headed to the ceremony site. Kennia and Brandon put so much thought and time into each and every detail of the day from their meaningful vows to Kennia's gorgeous personalized wedding dress.
Picnic in the redwoods
After they read their vows to each other, they all joined each other, surrounded by the giant redwoods for the sweetest picnic, where they enjoyed their wedding cake and champagne. This is a great idea for those couples that want to share a moment with their small group of friends and family right after the ceremony to celebrate the day.
Glen Oaks Redwood Portraits
Glen Oaks is by far one of my favorite places to take couples portraits on their wedding day. There is something magical about the way the light hits the trees in this forest filled with redwoods, ferns and ivy.
Rent the Car!
This is your one and only wedding day! If you are even thinking about how fun it would be to drive a classic car or a race car down Highway One - stop thinking about it - and do it now! Kennia knew just how important this part of the day was to Brandon, and he couldn't stop smiling, at her or the beautiful blue C8 Corvette they rented for the day. And of course, we had to stop along the way at the iconic Bixby Bridge for a quick, celebratory champagne spray!
Cliff Portraits at Garrapata
We finished off this epic day by adventuring along the cliffs at Garrapata State Park. We walked through the wildflowers and climbed mountains, watched as the sun set over the Pacific. I truly don't think any of us could've dreamed up a better day. Thank you so much Kennia and Brandon for letting me be your planner, photographer, witness and guide to your Big Sur Wedding!
